I am a Lancaster, PA based web designer, working for Penn State University – York, PA Campus. I am equally passionate about effective and beautiful web design, as I am about standards based XHTML/CSS. I love my work, as I get to be creative one moment, and technical the next.
Prior to my employment at Penn State, I spent close to 5 years at North Star Marketing, a Lancaster, PA based marketing company, as their sole web designer/programmer. I have also taught several courses at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, as an adjunct instructor. I have taught Adobe Photoshop, and web design classes focusing on XHTML/CSS.
In the fall of 2009 I began pursuing my Master’s Degree in Information Systems at Penn State University.
As time allows, I take on freelance web design and consulting work. I have recently completed website projects for Hometown Provisions and CR Impact, and continue to work on an ongoing email marketing campaign for CR Impact. I have also spoken at industry related events, including The Central Penn Business Journal Web Summit.
Some of my interests outside of my professional life include music, technology, sports, and food & cooking.
